ABOUT

Michael Beaver

Hi, I’m Michael Beaver (he/him). I help people buy and sell homes across North Chicago and the North Shore—places I’m proud to call home myself. My approach is simple: I listen, I guide, and I advocate for your goals like they’re my own.

Whether you’re buying your first luxury home or looking to make a bold move, I offer more than market insight. I bring patience, strategy, and a deep respect for your story.

I’m a Realtor® with a passion for finding new Chicagoland places to explore.

From a young age, I was captivated by home design and real estate—I spent countless hours poring over floor plans in Southern Living, dreaming about spaces and how people live in them. That early passion stuck with me and eventually became the foundation for my career in real estate, where I now get to combine those lifelong interests with professional expertise.

I’ve called Chicagoland home for over 15 years and live in Rogers Park. I know the north side and the North Shore well—and I genuinely love these vibrant, diverse communities. I joined the Evanston office of Baird & Warner in 2024 because I wanted to help people find the right homes and neighborhoods that fit their lives.

Before real estate, I spent 15 years working in higher education administration. It taught me how to listen, communicate clearly, stay organized, and build strong relationships. Those same skills now help me support clients through one of life’s biggest transitions—buying or selling a home.

I’m proud to serve the LGBTQIA+ community and maintain a wide network of connections across the country. I also love to travel—especially by cruise ship—which keeps me open-minded, curious, and ready for whatever comes next.

Whether you’re buying your first home, selling a longtime one, or exploring your next move, I’m here to help with insight, care, and a deep understanding of what makes this part of the city so special.

Contact me any time with your real estate questions at (773) 368.1969. See you around town!

Why I Do This

I fell in love with homes long before I worked in real estate—sketching floor plans, touring neighborhoods, imagining how people live. That love turned into a career rooted in service, creativity, and connection.

I’m especially passionate about helping LGBTQ+ clients feel seen and supported throughout the home buying or selling process—without pressure, judgment, or assumptions.
